clear glass quart mason
canning jar with a GEM insert and a zinc band is in good condition
.  One side of the jar is embossed with

he insert is embossed with
IMPROVED GEM MADE IN CANADA
.  Including the insert and zinc band, the jar is
approximately
7" tall and 3 1/2" across the base.
As expected with vintage canning jars, there are manufacturing flaws including bubbles in the glass.
The jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including rim wear and surface scratches
