SWAYZEE'S IMPROVED MASON
blue-glass pint mason
canning jar with a porcelain-lined zinc cap is in good condition
.  One side of the jar is boldly embossed with the words
SWAYZEE'S IMPROVED MASON
.  The number
8
is embossed on the base.
Including the zinc cap, the canning jar is
approximately
5 1/8" tall.
As expected with vintage canning jars, there are manufacturing flaws including bubbles in the glass.
The jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including rim wear and surface scratches.
