Vintage Parker 51 fountain pen 12k gf top burgundy or brown to restore parts NR

Listed here is a nice looking untested vintage Parker 51 fountain pen to restore or for parts. The pen has a 12k gold filled top cap and a brown or burgundy barrel, and I'm unsure which it is. The pen measures approx. 5 5/8th inches end to end when closed. The gold filled cap is showing some very minor wear on the edges and high spots of the clip, and has a few scratches form use and storage. The cap has a cool engraved line pattern that comes to a single line or point at the top of the cap. The silver tone jewel on top of the cap still looks to be in clean condition. The cap is marked Parker and 1/10 12k gold filled. The plastic barrel is showing a few scratches from use and storage, but has no cracks or monograms. The barrel is marked made in U.S.A. and has a small 50 behind that. The nib end of the pen still looks good, but you can see a bit of light cap wear on the plastic part. It is very light, and may just smooth out with a light polish. The pen still looks very clean on the inside, and the ink sac still seems soft and pliable. Overall the pen still looks to be in good to very good condition, but has not been tested for function. It looks like a good 70 year old Parker pen to use for a restoration project, or for a good source of parts.  Selling the pen as is with a low start and no reserve. buyer to pay .00 for first class shipping.
