vintage
green-glass quart mason
canning jar with a Ball zinc cap is in good condition
.
The number
5
is embossed on the base.
Including the zinc cap, the canning jar is
approximately
7 1/4" tall.
As expected with vintage canning jars, there are manufacturing flaws including "orange peel" seams and big closed bubbles in the glass.
The jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including ground lip flakes and surface scratches.
