  • Condition: The rim is a little rough - but no deep chips. You can run your fingers around it without cutting yourself. Lid shows some wear. Needs a good cleaning. Otherwise - nice condition. Please view all of the photos for a better overall description of condition.

    Description

    This auction is for a vintage BALL - Mason Jar.
    1/2 Gallon Jar - stands about 9" tall.  Diameter of the base is 4-3/8"
    Slender top jar.  Seams down both sides of the body.
    "Dropped A" - dating the jar from 1910 - 1923
    Bottom is stamped:  "X" 3-5
    Zinc lid fits as it should - and is appropriate to the jar.
    The jar is in good condition.  Some air bubbles here and there.
    The rim does have some rough edges - no chips.
