    Description

    Up for sale is a vintage antique oak wood tobacco jar humidor recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area.  The wood is drying and shrinking and cracking, large cracks in the sides, one across the whole bottom which is no longer attached.  The lid did not come to auction.  As found for parts or repair, base needs glueing, sides need glueing and or plumping.  Silver plated rim and swing handle.  Lovely in its day for sure.  Needs work.
