    Description

    The lid of this handsome tobacco jar has been repaired. Please examine closely the photos.
    I didn't know what a tobacco jar was when I originally bought this. But something about the scene spoke to me. I liked the size, shape, and colors of this pottery jar. I never did use it to store tobacco. Instead I kept individually wrapped candy treats inside: salt water taffy, ginger chews, and hard candies.
    There are no pottery marks to denote the creator or country of origin. This was a no-name purchase that l like just as much now as I did when I first bought it. But as I start to downsize, it's time to re-home this lovely jar.
