A great little find! This is a well made and in Nice Vintage Condition with no chips piece,
There is crazing and one deep Craze line as expected with the age.
From 1944 the business was renamed Lancaster & Sandland when, presumably,
Sandland became a partner in the company.
The company went into voluntary
liquidation in November 1968.
This piece only bears the name Sandland so it is quite unusual. The date of
production is assumed to be between 1944 when Sandland
parentered-1968 when the factory was dissolved.
The piece measures 4 1/2"tall, base diameter 4", top opening diameter 4 3/4"
