Restored 1940 Blue Azure Pearl Parker Vacumatic Double Jewel Fountain Pen

Beautiful 1940 Vintage laminated Blue Azure Pearl Speedline Vacumatic fountain pen. This pen was made in 1940 as indicated by the date code 0 marked on the Nib and Barrel. This pen is the Major Speed-line model measuring 5-5/16” with the cap on.
This pen features laminated Blue Azure Pearl cap and barrel with gold filled trim and double black jewels on cap and blind cap. The cap has a gold filled chevron band and blue Diamond clip (blue Diamond color faded). It’s rare you find a matching date code two tone nib is such good condition, this nib writes a fine line, as with many fine nibs it may need to be adjusted to suit your writing style.
The cap chevron has faint initials that appear to be lightly scratched on the engraving plate area trim, noticeable upon magnification (see enlarged photo) the rest of the trim is in great condition.
Other than the chevron band noted this 81 year old pen is in very good condition, no defects, some micro scratches here and there commonly found with vintage pen, nothing visible to the naked eye (no cracks, chips, dings or dents). The barrel imprint is visible, the semi transparent barrel shows some ink view transparency. The blind cap matches up nicely to the barrel. This pen has been fully restored and is working well.
