    WORKING DESCRIPTION:
This pinball machine is in excellent, fully working, fully shopped condition.  See my standard text below to see what "fully Shopped" means to me.
The game really plays VERY well and looks amazing.  After installing a new Lamp Driver Board, I changed all bulbs to LEDs.  And not cheap chinese LEDs - I get only the best from Cointaker.
I also replaced the MPU with a new ALLTEK to improve reliability and longevity on this rare game.
I have tediously gone over every computer board in this game and resoldered all connectors, cleaned all the female connectors.  I've replaced some connectors that were in need of replacing. The power supply has been gone over carefully and is in perfect working condition.  Every single light bulb, switch, coil, display segment, etc is working correctly.
There are a few little burns in some of the displays, which is totally common and to be expected in these 40 year old Ballys.  Still fully working and not bad or hard to read or anything.  Just a sign of originality and age.  You can replace the displays with new LED replacements if you want.  I don't like them because I appreciate the originality of these antique neon displays.
This is a really fun game with super striking artwork.  How can you not be intrigued to see the city of Chicago being nuked on the backglass, and skeletons sipping from glasses of blood?  Not the way I would decorate my home personally, but it is quite a work of art nonetheless.
I probably don't need to tell you this, but this is also a very rare pinball machine.  From what I've been told, it is the rarest production Bally pinball ever made.  That is why I have it priced the way it is priced.  I really had no intention of selling it, but frankly I am tired of the level of debt I'm at and I thought, well, if I can sell Voltan, I'll pay down some debt.  So please, help me pay down some debt and buy this rare piece of history.
Let me know if you want more pictures - I can send you a link.  They won't let me put the link in the listing for some reason.
CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE:
Excellent condition. Not mint, but definitely above average.  The playfield has some wear.  I've owned this game for about 25 years and 98% of that time it was in my parents' basement getting almost no play.  Then I moved it into my pinball museum, where it got about the same amount of play for about a year.  But it must have gotten some play before I got it because you can see some wear on the playfield.
The plastics, however, are basically perfect. And the
backglass is almost perfect.  The only flaw anywhere on the backglass is a tiny spot in the very top left corner where the glass locking mechanism rubs the inside of the glass and scraped the paint there.  Otherwise it's perfect.
The coin door is in great condition and is fully working with coin mechs and a new lock.
The cabinet looks really great.  It was touched up and would be perfect, except that when the purple paint dried, it turned out to be a different color than when it was wet.  It was perfect when we first started touching it up.  But that could be remedied by you.
If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know - I'm happy to answer.

    LOCATION:
This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754.  That's right...in the heart of Classic Arcade World where Arcadia: America's Playable Arcade Museum, Pinball Paradise, and Hotel Arcadia are located!  I suggest buying this game and then making its pickup a fun family road trip!  We have over 140 playable games and luxurious arcade-themed lodging options.  Contact me for more details or look for hotel Arcadia on airbnb.
    SHIPPING:
Included in the price is FREE WHITE GLOVE SHIPPING from North American Van Lines.  They will bring it right inside your house (ground floor only).  This is for the 48 contiguous United States only.  If you want this shipped internationally, it will cost extra and we will have to discuss it and get a shipping quote before you pull the trigger.
Regarding shipping time, North American Van Lines only picks up from my location once a week.  So shipping will probably take between 7 and 14 days depending on where you are in the country.  In some rare cases possibly longer.
For what it's worth, I have been collecting (hoarding) games for over 30 years and selling them on eBay since about 1997. I have probably shipped two thousand games (many but not all on eBay), from individual games to full containers.  You won't find a more reputable seller...check my feedback.  Unfortunately, I cannot provide a money-back guarantee on this just because a lot can happen in shipping.  What I CAN guarantee is that if you pick the game up, or if not when the game leaves my hands, it will be exactly as described and photoed above.  And in 30 years of selling, I have never left anyone in the lurch or ripped anyone off.  I'm a fair, honest guy...ask anyone.
