If this muck and sludge goes untreated, nutrients will be released into the water column causing poor water quality and foul odors. Once applied, Ultimate Pond Bacteria is active immediately and will begin to break down muck and sludge into an odorless gas that will simply escape out of the water column unnoticed. Ultimate Pond Bacteria is super concentrated and formulated for large ponds but also works great in water gardens, koi ponds and other water features. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not allow it to freeze. Wash with soap and water after use.
