The original Mandarin Yellow Duofold was first created in 1927 by George Parker who drew his inspiration from a cloisonné vase that he found in a Japanese store and subsequently displayed in his home. In 1995, Parker produced a commemorative limited edition of Parker's original Mandarin Yellow Duofold with only 10,000 fountains pens created.
The barrel is crafted from specifically cast, highly polished, acrylic and finished with gold plated trimmings. It is fitted with a two tone 18kt gold nib (medium) and is all packaged in a beautiful display box which includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
The pen has been used with a blue ink cartridge but it functions well and is in great condition! It comes with its outer and inner presentation boxes and documents. We do our best to represent the quality of our listings via its images, please revise them carefully prior to purchase.
