Parker Challenger Fountain Pen, Burgundy Marbled, 14k Fine/Med Nib, Clean, Nice!

Description

A very nice Parker Challenger fountain pen in red (burgundy) marbled pattern with a fine/medium 14k Parker nib. This pen has been cleaned, restored, and is in good overall condition with minor age related wear. A very clean example showing a few light marks, nicks, and dings. Barrel personalized with the name “Myrow Lachman”. End of barrel shows noticeable wear from cap posting. Barrel imprint is very clean, showing a date code of 1938 (2nd quarter). Gold filled trim is in good shape. Push button filling system is in good working order. New ink sac installed. No cracks or damage. Clear ink view section. Past ink residue has been cleaned from the section, feed, nib, and inner cap. Please see pictures for more details on exterior condition.
The 14k Parker nib offers an a smooth fine to medium line with some mild flex. Please see sample writing in photos. Pen measures approximately 4 3/4 inches (121mm) in length capped. A very nice Parker Challenger, well preserved with great color.
