Ottar Hval Olso Norway 830 s Silver Tobacco Humidor

Description

Tobacco Silver 830 s made in Olso Norway by Ottar Hval.  It is in good used condition and all original parts are still there.  It measures 4 1/4" in diameter with the airtight lid being 4 5/8" in diameter.  The lid contains the filtering system which can be replaced(see picture).  It is 5" tall and has a total weight of 347.4 grams which included the wooden thin base.  It also has a very small wooden insert on the handle.  It is hallmarked on the base with Ottar Hval's hallmark as well as 830 s making it the standard Norwegian silver standard.  The silver in the interior is partly discolored but I did not want to polish it.  This is a rare find and probably from the late 1930's.  Very similar to the ones David Andersen made.
