Description:
Presented for your consideration is this vintage mechanical pencil. Dating to around 1940, the pencil is a Parker Challenger pencil with a burgundy red marble coloration throughout. The pencil is completed with a gold tone band around the middle, clip and tip. The side of the barrel is marked with "Parker Challenger" and the clip is marked with "Parker." This mechanical pencil would make a great addition to any writing instrument collection!
The pencil is not currently functional. The top is really loose from the bottom at the gold tone band. A small surface crack is in the barrel near the top of the tip. Very light age wear. Overall in GOOD condition. Sold as found. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 4 3/4" long and 3/8" in diameter.
