Product Description:
This offering is for a new-old-stock Italian-Made (model Superga Sport) left cycling shoe. So just to be clear, this offering is for a single left shoe. Our best guess is the shoe is fairly old...maybe 70's or possibly early 80's vintage. It's an all leather model with a sole that also appears to be leather (double layered) with either a metal or plastic plate riveted between the leather layers for stiffness. There is no padding in the sole...just a thin vinyl-like heel cover/insert that fits over the top of the leather sole (inside the shoe). You will also notice from the pictures the shoe is not pre-drilled for any cleats, so will require a tack-on model cleat that is anchored with small nails.
In terms of sizing, this shoe is a size 38 (Euro). Although, for those not very familiar with European sizing (and please include us in this group), we measured the outer dimensions of these shoes using our digital calipers and noted their length was (245 mm or 24.5 cm) and their width...at the widest part of the toebox...was (85 mm or 8.5 cm). We also scanned a few shoe sizing/conversion charts and noted that while cycling shoe manufactures size their shoes somewhat differently, a size 38 (Euro) typically translates into a youth size 6 to 6 1/2 (or a slightly smaller men's size, if such information were published in sizing charts) or a women's size 7 1/2.
As for condition, this left shoe is still in nice condition overall...especially when considering the vintage. It's a leftover shoe in that I have sold out of our shoes in this model (and this is all that is left in stock). Please also note that I do not have a shoe lace available to include with this shoe, so one will have to be acquired elsewhere.
Listing Update...The age of this shoe possibly means the adhesive that binds the outer sole to the leather upper may begin to fail at some point down the road. A few customers have indicated this to be a problem (with other branded shoes...although not these yet), but it's a relatively easy fix with the application of some new adhesive. So please understand this shoe may require some attention (given its age) at a later date. I do not see any signs of this occurring at this time, but there is the possibility down the road (and just want to be honest with folks).

Note to international customers regarding shipping...
We apologize to those that feel some of our international shipping charges are too high. We only charge actual shipping rates, but once an order exceeds a certain amount, we hesitate to use the least expensive US Postal Services First Class International service. We feel this way, because this service is not trackable or insurable...so more risk of loss. We prefer the US Postal Services Priority Mail International service for more expensive orders, because this service is trackable at USPS.com and insurable...so less risk of loss. Unfortunately, this service is more expensive, especially for smaller/lighter packages, relative to the First Class International service. We are sorry about these higher shipping costs, but hopefully our notes help to explain why this is the case.
Note to international customers regarding customs...
We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs' laws to declare each order as a retail sale. Additionally, the declared order value must be equal to total store purchases and/or winning auction bids (less any shipping costs, as these are not considered in the declared value). As a result, each customer will be responsible for paying his/her own country taxes, duties and brokerage fees, which will be collected upon delivery. Again, we apologize for these additional costs, but we cannot afford the penalties and fines that come with breaking customs' laws...so we have to strictly abide by them.
