DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
FOR BEST RESULT SPREAD CUTRINE PLUS GRANULAR EARLY IN THE DAY.  This will usually allow for a quiet water surface and ample sunlight needed for maximum control.
LARGE AREA TREATMENT
Apply at the rate of 60 pounds per acre (67.2 kg per ha).
Distribute evenly over the water surface directly over the vegetation to be treated.  A dry fertilizer spreader may be used to insure even distribution. Chara and Nitella should be treated early in the season.  As the season progresses they become very resistant.  Under usual circumstances a single application per season to treatment sector is all that is necessary.
To avoid suffocation of fish due to lack of oxygen caused by decaying vegetation, never treat more that 1/3 to 1/2 of a lake or pond at a time.  Allow sufficient time between treatments for oxygen levels to recover (usually 1 - 2 weeks).
Begin treatment along the shore and proceed outwards in bands to allow fish to move into untreated areas.  Consult your State Fish and Game Agency before applying this product to public waters.
SPOT TREATMENT
Apply directly over infested area at the rate of 1 pound per 720 square feet (72’ x 10’) (6.8 g per m2).  Heavy growth may require re-treatment.
NOTE:
Areas treated with CUTRINE PLUS GRANULAR can be used for swimming or fishing immediately after treatment.  However, swimming may cause drift of the active ingredients and reduce effectiveness of the treatment.  Water from treated lakes or ponds may be used to irrigate turf, fairways, putting greens and ornamental plants.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Do not contaminate or store near feed or foodstuffs.  Completely empty bag into application equipment.  Then dispose of bag in a sanitary landfill or by incineration, or, if allowed by State and local authorities, by burning.  If burned, stay out of smoke.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS CAUTION.  Keep out of reach of children. CUTRINE PLUS GRANULAR may cause skin irritation.  May be harmful if swallowed.  Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.  Avoid breathing the dust.
STATEMENT OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT FIRST AID.   In case of skin or eye contact, flush with clear water.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS FISH CAUTION.  The copper in CUTRINE PLUS GRANULAR may be toxic to trout and other species of fish.  Fish toxicity is dependent upon the hardness of the water.  Do not use CUTRINE PLUS GRANULAR in water containing trout if the carbonate hardness of the water does not exceed 50 ppm
