Gorgeous dark green Parker 51 fountain pen with chrome cap, excellent condition!

This is a truly beautiful example of the iconic Parker 51 fountain pen. The colors and chrome are bright, and the pen looks as though it has only seen very light use, if it was really used at all.
The dark green body makes an excellent contrast to the chrome cap, and the very small scratches and scuffs, which are commensurate with the pen's age, are really only apparent under magnification. As this is a later 51, the nib (which I would guess to be a 'fine') appears to be stainless steel.
I haven't inked it, but I did flush the pen with water to remove any old ink, and the pen draws and expels water well, so I'm fairly certain it will function as intended. Seems to me that this would make an excellent daily writer, and the sought after dark green colour makes it a desirable collector's piece as well.
Although I love my pens, as I'm getting older (aren't we all?) I'm letting a few select pieces from my own pen collection go. I want them to find new homes where they can be used and enjoyed by a new generation of fountain pen enthusiasts.
The Parker 51 is one of the greatest fountain pens ever made and it was produced by one of the greatest pen makers the world has ever known. It has a great history too. General Eisenhower, who oversaw the WWII German surrender on May 7th, 1945, signed that document with an older Parker 51 fountain pen.
For over thirty years I have collected pens, and these only seem to go up in value.
This is a chance to own a beautiful example of this legendary pen.
