The use of Blue Lake Dye Packets are safe for fish and part of an overall pond maintenance program for backyard ponds.  Blue Lake Dye will improve the appearance of pond water and help with overall water quality. Water-soluble packets can simply be tossed into the pond for easy application.

The use of fish safe dye is a common part of an overall pond
maintenance program. Dyes may be added directly into the
pond/lake (preferably in several locations). Blue lake dye creates
a calming “Caribbean” blue tint to pond water.
These concentrated dyes will save you in shipping costs.
Four - 4 ounce water soluble packets (WSP) per pouch -
Simply toss WSP into pond for easy application.
This is a nontoxic pond dye for use in ponds/lakes.

Directions for Use
Three WSPs (water soluble packet) will treat one acre,
3'-4' deep with a bonus packet for a deeper color or
touch-up as needed.
To prevent staining — handle with care prior to dilution
and dispersing in water.
Use of gloves is recommended while applying product
Dye will not stain rocks, plants, pets, wildlife or people
once diluted and dispersed in water.
