    Description

Rare necklace of 14 glass beads (shine finish) produced in the beads factory "ERCOLE MORETTI" in the years 1930-1935, Murano - Venezia.
These beads are called "shine ground beads". These beads are made using the same idea that brought to the creation of the most famous "chevron" or "rosetta" at the end of 15th century, but obtaining a sophisticated pattern according to the taste of that period.
Condition: new, directly from a very old stock. These beads are becoming very rare, because after 1939, and WWII, they stopped to be produced as no longer required in the fashion both in Europe and in the States. The clasp was replaced with a modern one in anallergic rhodium metal.
