  • Condition: in VERY, VERY GOOD condition for its age, and it was used, we cleaned out the tobacco. It does have some production issues, dimples, dark specks in body, in-mold imperfections and there are some firing or age cracks with discolor in/on the white applied decorations. It has normal age wear discolor on foot/base, needs some cleaning and some dark scuffs on the body. There are NO missing pieces, NO chips, NO nicks, NO other cracks and NO repairs.

    I hate to throw history away, it all has a Story, Character, Charm and could be wroth restoring.  I start them low at auction with no reserves, but once it rolls into the shop, you are going to have to Make an Offer at a higher price. You can save on gas, shop at home and have it shipped to your door. And where else, can you get more than a one liner for a description. I want to tell you every thing I see, so it feels like your looking it over.  Possibly more photos than you care to look at. Some, even being a puzzle, you might have to figure it out.
    Estate Fresh, here we are offering a LOVELY Light PINK Jasper Ware Humidor decorated with a Fox Hunt Scene that goes all the way around the body in a applied Bright White, Border of White four petal flowers decorate the cover.  The fittings are a non-magnetic metal, nickel silver.  It has a glossy pink interior and it is black ink stamp marked "Comoy's of
    London
    , Dudson Hanley, Jasper Ware Made in
    England
    since 1800".  This is made with pink tinted earthenware with detailed applied white slip decoration.  Exact time of production is not known to me

    I have looked high and low and found NO Other pieces like this, the Fox Hunt Scene, even with a Dog attacked Dead Fox Scene, is quite Uniquely Rare.  If you have any information to share, Please do, and I’ll pass it along

    This Humidor measures almost 5" high to rim/lip, 5¾" across rim, 4-5/8" across cover, 6" across widest point of the body and 4¾" across the in-mold foot
