    Description

New "BALL PERFECT MASON" jar, in the
    half pint (8 ounce)
    size.  This is a
    brand new
    version of the classic
    Ball Perfect Mason
jars, with the cursive font style variant used between 1910 and 1923.  Marked "BALL PERFECT MASON" on the front, and "MADE IN USA" on the back, and below that, along the lower heel of the jar,  are a series of nine raised dots, which I think is related to quality control with the assembly-line / conveyor belt machinery at the glass plant.
This jar comes with a new "Ball" metal band and lid. This measures about 3 and 1/4th inches in height, and 2 and 3/4ths inches in diameter at the base.  I assume this was manufactured in the year 2020 or 2021.  There is a mold number "81" on the base (at the 9:00 position as if looking at a clock face). The "Stylized Chalice" trademark (looks a little like the letter U, or an upside down Omega symbol) used by Ardagh Group is on the right side of the base (at the 3:00 position).  Ardagh makes these Ball jars at the present time.  This was made at one of their glass factories in Indiana,  I believe at their plant located at Winchester, Indiana.
These jars make great gift giving ideas (makes a great little gift with candies or mixed nuts inside, for a special occasion, or no occasion at all!) , for kitchen or other room decor, or for storing small objects or collectibles such as marbles, beads, coins, buttons, screws, paper clips, or whatever else you can think of!
Total packed shipping weight should be slightly less than a pound, so I can ship this USPS First Class, which should be the most inexpensive way to most addresses in the US.
