    Description

AquaMeds® specializes in water treatments focusing on Koi care and beneficial pond bacteria, consulting with an expert veterinarian on aquaculture health and nutrition.
    Arctic Blend
is a unique bacteria blend specially selected for cold water temperatures to benefit the pond ecosystem and fish. Even in the winter time, when fish are not producing ammonia-containing waste, there is still ammonia output from their breathing. Arctic Blend neutralizes this harmful ammonia from the water.
Arctic Blend is not nitrifying bacteria.
Though nitrifying bacteria play an important role in the ecosystem during the spring and summer, there is basically no activity from that bacteria during winter. Rather than typical bacteria that processes the nitrogen cycle, Arctic Blend are a unique blend of anaerobic bacteria (some coming from the Arctic ocean!) that absorb ammonia from the winter pond water and render it harmless to the fish.
It is the only bacteria treatment on the market that remove ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, phosphorus and digest sludge in temperatures below 39°F.
Treats pond water as low as 35°F; perfect for cold winter weather
100% natural bacteria; contains no chemicals, antibiotics, or medications
Reduces sludge in the pond, reducing spring clean-up needs
Safe for plants, pets, and wildlife
