Antique Humidor - Cross Eyed Man with Mulberry Hat Porcelain

Description

Humidor - Antique porcelain depiction of a man wearing a purple-ish hat.  (I think maybe this is a legal figure from France?).  The hat is the lid to the humidor. Hand-painted features make the man's eyes look a bit cross-eyed.  He's wearing some black garment with a white cravate tie.
Lid contains hole space for damp sponge.  Underneath, maker's model number is impressed ("5688") and painters code number "35".
Measurements:  4 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 4"
This antique humidor is in great condition. No mentionable issues such as pings, dings, cracks, breaks, etc.  Inside, there is one dark corner, that appears to be from original manufacturing process.
