Antique Brass Humidor Bell Metal Brass Engraved James Lacock 1854 England

Description

This great piece measures 7" (17.8 cm) high, 5" (12.8 cm) wide and 4" (10.2 cm)
from back to front. It is made of bell metal, a high quality brass. It weighs 4 pounds.
The shape is lovely and the decorative feet have the appearance of a piece of
furniture. It has fancy script engraving on the front that reads: "HRP", "Made by
James Lacock, 1854, In England". This was purchased by the dealer I obtained it
from in the 1960s and stored until 2012 when I puchased it. It could also be used
as a "what not" container as well.
