25" Vintage African Amber Trade and Glass Wedding Cake Bead Necklace

For sale today we have a beautiful 25" necklace which features a VINTAGE AFRICAN BUTTERSCOTCH AMBER TRADE BEAD from the early 1900's.  It measures approximately 18x29mm. Its natural patina grows more beautiful with age.
This amber bead is NOT natural Baltic amber. It was made from a phenolic resin to fill the appetite for amber beads for the African trade.
The large glass wedding cake beads graduate gracefully from the approximately 35x14mm reds to the approximately 16x11mm whites.  As they were hand crafted, each varies in color, size and shape.
Everything is in excellent used vintage condition with age-related wear.
