Beautiful GEM of a Buffalo! In fact, we honestly take the position that the condition of this coin may surpass GEM status given the Gem examples shown on the PCGS Coinfacts website. Inspect it closely. This one has crisper details than most Gem examples, especially the obverse hair knots, facial features, and the reverse buffalo head and shoulder area...possibly moving it up a notch or two in grade. The beautiful overtones are certainly a bonus! Easy to find in circulated grades, but in mint-state, the 1934 is MUCH more rare than the other Philly Mint issues of the 30's decade, and its rarity is much more like the P Mints of the 1920's. This one is certainly one of the nicer ones we've seen...
