Stamped Steel 1932 FORD Grille Shell
with an enclosed Grille
....
it's all one piece of sheet metal.....It actually is one of the first stamping stages that it takes to make a complete grille shell.
This is a
one
of a kind
that was made, by a Nationally well known Hot Rod Supplier that makes complete 1932 "REPRODUCTION" Grille Shells.....
there are no others like this one for sale.
This "
SPECIAL" grille shell
was made to be used on a Race Car for the "Bonneville" or "Muroc" Salt Flats.
It measures the same size as the original 1932 FORD Grille shell as for height & width ....but the depth is a little less.
The light brown colors you see in all my pictures
is NOT surface rust
....it's only light shadows....(the metal is shiney and clean everywhere).
The last two pictures will give you an example on how this type of grille shell was made to be used !
