17 Antique Venetian Wedding Cake Beads

Description

This is a small lot of 17 Antique Venetian Wedding Cake glass beads. Wedding cake beads are part of the "Fancy" family of Venetian beads. You have your murina based beads (African trade beads) and the fancy beads which have no murina. These beads feature a dark green glass base bead with all hand applied decorations featuring avventurina trailings; pink "roses"; a yellow dot with little blue and white  "forget me nots." These glass Venetian Wedding Cake beads are a fantastic example of the Venetian bead makers craft! As each bead is made by hand, one at a time, you can notice the differences in these beads which makes them unique in their own right.
Largest bead measures 12 mm and the smallest bead measures 6 mm.  They are in perfect condition.
